PASTICCERIA MAZZARA
The Mazzara confectioner’s, which came into being in 1913 as a simple dairy and ice cream parlour, today is one of the most prestigious places in the city, a stone’s throw from the Teatro Massimo. Among its past customers it can boast of Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, who between one coffee and another wrote many pages of his famous “Leopard” here. It produces true delights known the world over.
